Name: Aaron Arana Age: 23 Personality: The most obvious thing of Aaron is his vast knowledge of the land of Escar. He can at times seem like a walking textbook on various facts about the land, which for most can be highly annoying. Sometimes Aaron cannot help himself, when he hears someone states something as fact that he knows is incorrect he feels obliged to correct them. This habit can make him seem condescending but he does it with the belief that he is improving that person’s knowledge. Fortunately since becoming advisor he has learnt to control this habit, or atleast not correct as often as he did once in his youth. Aaron can be very awkward around people in a social setting, growing up in Arana he was always surrounded by members of his family. The children of Arana were kept naïve of the world around them, no doubt his parents kept them sheltered with good intentions but it did mean he tends to struggle socialising with people he doesn’t know very well. All Aaron had growing up was his parents and his books, socialising with common folk was out of the question. His younger sister had always rebelled against that but Aaron had always been the most reserved of the Arana siblings. Maybe part of his awkward and quiet nature comes from the fact that unlike his father and brother(s) Aaron was never exactly adept with weapons. Sure he was an okayish archer but give him a sword or battle axe and you might as well give it to a monkey. His father had pushed him in fighting through much of his youth, eventually giving up and resigning himself to the fact that his youngest son was far better at using his mind. However since moving to the capital to become the king’s advisor Aaron has slowly begun to find his own inner strength. He has developed a quiet stubbornness about the direction of his life. To his father’s disappointment he has so far refused to marry. If he is to marry then it won’t be to gain power, in any case few women from the powerful houses of nobility would be willing to marry the youngest son of a noble. |
