Name: Eleanor Arana Age: 21 Title: Daughter of the Earl of Arana Sexuality: Heterosexual Personality: Eleanor, although she prefers being called Nora, is quite a stubborn young lady. Nora is ruled by youthful fantasies and her idealistic nature. She is impulsive, wild and insubordinate. Her life of privilege is very apparent. Her upbringing has taught her a variety of languages, including the common trading language, horse riding, archery and hand to hand combat. A daughter of Arana must be able to defend herself. Her classes have included geography, history (the parts that were not erased, of course), diplomatic skills and basic mathematics and science. Her head is full of knowledge but it has yet to translate into wisdom. If she is not to marry, her father plans to send her off to the Great Library in Byzantir to become a scholar. Nora cannot imagine giving her life to books and knowledge and forego the experience of the world. yet, it is a better fate than a loveless marriage and child bearing. Despite her adventurous soul, Nora has yet to find out the cruelty of this world. She has been relatively sheltered by her family, even though they have taught her to fight. For many of the raids she had been instructed to stay inside. Reality waits on the near horizon for the young girl. Life is more than the wild adventures and fairy tales she constructs in her mind. Despite all of her adventures, her life has been a protected one. There is always food and money. Reality cannot be denied – her future holds two options. Either she will be forced into accountability and responsibility for her status and become the wife of nobleman and leave the world of aimless adventuring behind, or find that her adventures become her own hell – after all, away from nobility there are very few luxuries. She cannot live both lives. Despite her shortcomings, Nora is compassionate and courageous. While she has only faced mild difficulty, she has the mettle to face larger adversity. She is adaptable (well, all people have to be so should they survive). In many ways, Nora is still a blank slate. With each year she grows more mature. Just beneath her light hearted exterior lies a darker, broody soul that seeks a lot more meaning in life. History: Coming soon! |
